Remote Work Policy

Nayvo is a fully remote, bootstrapped app studio. We build from anywhere, trust people to manage their own time, and measure outcomes over hours.

Who we are

Nayvo is an independent app studio building marketplace apps for Shopify, monday.com, HubSpot, and Atlassian. We are a small, distributed team and we design our work around deep focus, async communication, and reliable delivery.

Remote-first work

We are fully remote. There is no central office. Team members choose the workspace that suits them best — home, a co-working space, or anywhere with a reliable internet connection. As long as the work is shipped and the team is in sync, location is up to you.

Work hours

We work async-first. Everyone has the freedom to set their own daily schedule, with the expectation that they are available for agreed meetings, deadlines, and urgent collaboration. We focus on output and milestones, not on clocked hours.

Communication

We use async tools for most collaboration and keep meetings short and purposeful. Our default tools are Slack for chat, Notion for documentation, and video calls for real-time problem-solving. We expect clear, kind, and timely communication, while respecting each person’s focus time.

Equipment & home office

Team members provide their own workspace, internet, and core equipment. We support the tools and software needed to do the job, and we cover reasonable work-related expenses according to role and project needs. Talk to us if your setup needs an upgrade.

Meetings & time zones

We aim for overlap between team members but never require everyone to be online at the same time. Meetings are scheduled in advance, recorded when useful, and kept optional whenever possible. We respect time zones, weekends, and personal commitments.

Culture & connection

Remote does not mean isolated. We stay connected through regular stand-ups, project updates, and virtual team meetups. We also plan occasional in-person gatherings when practical.
